Buck Key was a singer from the 1970s. During his time as a musician, he worked as a mannequin maker in Springfield, Missouri. His music was discovered in an abandoned log cabin that contained boxes of tapes. The majority of these tapes were in terrible condition, except for two songs that were in canisters from the DECCA record label that came along with a strongly worded rejection letter from the label's representative.

After years of recording, Buck Key ended up disappearing into the wild wood of Missouri, never to be seen again...

Until 2024, we received an email regarding the location of his hideaway, which was where the tapes were found. He allowed us to sift through what he had, and told us that the DECCA tapes were the proudest he has ever felt.

These recordings were never heard, and now they have been lovingly dusted off, remixed, and released to the public.

Although they're not perfect, Buck Key's music has influenced people from Larry David to GG Allin.
